Taiko has changed me forever.

My first exposure to taiko was in 1998 when I had the opportunity to worked with a visiting artist to teach taiko to my 4th grade students. My personal journey started the following year. It has become a passion. Not only do I perform taiko, as a public school teacher, I bring taiko to at least 75 students each year.

Playing taiko feeds my soul, centers my spirit and grounds me in my hectic life.
